Okay - so it's been sometime since I posted here. Time for some cross posting fun! Take a look at this Johnny! and you'll see it's something I set up for my son and his Navy adventure. I felt that this post would be more at home over here then over there.

About my son: This past weekend, he graduated Navy Boot Camp. He did something that basically allows him to point a everyone and say "I'm different then you. I have taken that 1 step further to guarantee that you will always have that freedom you love."

For all that he has done in the past, this one moment no one can take from me. My pride for him knows no bounds. He has started a journey of countless footsteps to becoming a man of his own making. I find that words escape me when I try to tell him how I feel.

Take a look. Maybe you can see it in my face. He was my child, a boy, and he is fast becoming the man I knew he would be.
